HOW TO APPLY

Applications are preferred by email and all eligible applications are considered by trustees. Applications should be no more than 2 sides of A4 and must include a contact name, address, telephone number and registered charity number. Applications that do not include this information will not be considered.


In addition to the information above, your application should cover the following:

  • What your organisation does, its key aims and objectives, who it supports and its main activities.

  • What you are specifically seeking funding for including budget costs.

Trustees are currently focussing resources to support charities that are UK-based and do not work exclusively overseas. To ensure maximum impact from our small grants, only charities with income under £1m in their most recent financial year are eligible to apply. Additionally, once an award has been made, applicants must wait two clear years before they may apply again.

Applications are usually considered once per year at the Trustees’ AGM, this is usually in June each year, with a deadline for applications at the end of April. Following this meeting, all applicants will be informed of the outcome of the Trustees’ decision. Awards are usually between £2000 to £4000 and we award grants totalling around £30k -£35k each year.
