ABOUT
Who Are We?
We are a small trust that was set up to honour the ideals of Admiral of the Fleet, the Earl Mountbatten of Burma and this is achieved by supporting charitable organisations and causes working to further the humanitarian purposes with which he was associated in his latter years by way of small grants.
Our Key Areas Of Interest are:
-
Technological research and application of technology in aid of disabled people;
-
Community projects – particularly to support disadvantaged, young people.
Grants
Trustees are currently focussing resources to support charities that are UK based and do not work exclusively overseas. To ensure maximum impact from our small grants, only charities with income under £1m in their most recent financial year are eligible to apply. Additionally, once an award has been made, applicants must wait two clear years before they may apply again.
We do not support grants for individuals.
